Top 5 birds that can be considered as the prettiest of all

Birds are really a cute specie. Some are small, and some are large, but all are beautiful. Each and everyone of them have the ability to beautify a scene and make our mood more cheerful. 
However, we gotta agree that we find some birds more prettier than the others. So today I have listed 5 such birds which can be considered as the prettiest birds of the world.

5. Blue Jay

Bluejay is a native North American Passerine bird. It belongs to the Corvidae family. These birds are one of the most smartest bird species in the world. They can easily mimic voice of other animals, including the humans too. The most astonishing feature about these birds are they produces a "Jay Jay" sound to scare animals away.

These birds are really social and are usually found in small groups, except during winter. During winter, they form large herds and migrates to the South.

 4. Keel-Billed Toucan

Keel-Billed Toucan is a Latin American bird from the Toucan family. It is the national bird of Belize. These birds have colorful beaks which can grow up to 20 centimeters, making one third of the total body of the Toucan. Despite of the burdensome look of the beak, it is really light weighted and is also hallow from inside, so they can carry it easily.

Males use this colorful beak to attract females during the mating season.

Apart from their fearsome look, these birds are very social and can mix with humans very well.

3. Bohemian Waxwing

Bohemian Waxwing are a breed of Passerine birds. They are normally found in the northern forest of Eurasia and North America. They are usually found to have buff - grey plumage, blackface marking and pointed chest. They have really similar structure of European Sterling. Their normally feed on insects and travel to the northwest part of the United States during winter.

  

2. Golden Pheasants

Golden Pheasants are also called 'Chinese Pheasants'. These birds are very popular in Western and Central China for their smartness. 

Male Pheasants are very colorful compared to their female counterparts, hence making it very easy to distinguish. They (males) have black spots too and can grow up to 42 inches. 

However, despite of their pretty looks, these birds can't fly well and can be seen on the ground most of the times.

Peacocks or the male peafowl are well known for their colorful tails. Their tail covers up to 60% of their body. Their tail eye shaped making with different colors making it look very pretty. 

There are three different species of peafowls present in the world: Indian peafowl, Congo peafowl and Green peafowl. Indian peafowls are the most common one and are found in most part of the world.

During the mating season, the male peafowl use this tail to look superior and attract female peafowl.
